CytoGenix, Inc. (CYGX: OB) announced the results of proposals considered at its annual meeting of stockholders held May 31, in Houston.
The shareholders re-elected Dr. Malcolm Skolnick and Dr. Scott Parazynski to serve on the company's board of directors, for three-year terms.
Dr. Skolnick, CytoGenix Chairman and CEO commented, "I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Company as Director. We are pleased to have directors of the caliber of Dr. Parazynski on the Board. His scientific and medical expertise has proven invaluable in refining the Company's approach to developing our products. With the re-election of me and Dr. Parazynski, the size of CytoGenix board remains at seven directors, four of whom are independent, outside directors."

The results of the election of directors and approval of the independent auditors as approved in the general business meeting was followed with a presentation by the company of highlights of the past years progress. The Company reviewed decisions leading to product development, profiled current scientific research and development, summarized the intellectual property portfolio and described the company's growth as a business. Shareholders in attendance had the opportunity to direct numerous questions to the officers and staff and participate in a general discussion.
