Houston, TX (May 18, 2006) CytoGenix, Inc. (CYGX: OTC: BB) announces that Michael Y. Ma, Ph.D. has agreed to join the company as Director of DNA Production. Formerly a Project Manager and Head of Organic Chemistry and Oligo Synthesis at Promega Corporation, Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Ma has 15 years of biotech industry experience in various scientific and operations management positions.
Dr. Ma will direct the scale-up and expansion of the company's synthetic DNA manufacturing process, including developing and testing standard methods for production and quality control. His duties include directing the construction of a new manufacturing facility.
