Research Assistant (salary negotiable)
Start date: January 2008
Duties will include assisting project scientists with various molecular biology, microbiology and cell biology techniques including basic molecular biology techniques, cell culture, bacterial culture and possibly small animal work. Must hold at least a bachelor's degree in a biotechnology-related field and have 2-4 years working bench experience. Must be motivated and must be able to analyze and troubleshoot an experiment. Position requires excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills; applicant will be required to interact with all levels of management and personnel. Publications or prior project management is a plus.
